PROJECT MANAGER

Power Edison is seeking a Project Manager to manage a variety of strategic business initiatives for the company’s solar and energy storage businesses. The Project Manager will oversee and track a number of solar and energy storage projects in various stages. The Project Manager will also be involved in business development activities. The Project Manager will have support from and collaborate with different groups including business development, finance, operations etc.

Our team is an experienced group of professionals in the clean energy business with diverse backgrounds in utility partnerships, development, finance, engineering, technology, regulatory, operations, asset management, real estate and distribution/transmission planning. Power Edison has a committed management team and the financial resources required to continue expanding its solar and energy storage business with our trusted long-term partners.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Manage projects and strategic business initiatives

  • Develops strategies and solution offerings to support business objectives.

  • Manage and support business development activities

  • Prepare status reports on various projects and initiatives by collecting and analyzing information.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor or higher in Engineering, Business, Environmental Science or a related field

  • 3+ years professional experience in the energy industry, preferably in the electric utility industry.

  • Have an understanding of the structure and operation of a regulated utility.

  • Demonstrated leadership ability overseeing multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent project management skills.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to build relationships with supply chain and customers including senior leadership.

  • Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)

  • Ability to work in an entrepreneurial organization.
